Euphoria's star, Zendaya (Rue Bennett), visited a hospital associated with CMN Hospitals on 19 July to sign autographs and fans loved her for it.
First of all, what is CMN Hospitals?
Here's the gist: It's short for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, and is dedicated to raising funds for children hospitals and medical research. There are 170 children hospitals connected with the CMN Hospitals, and they have over 100 celebrity partners...
...And one of them is Zendaya, of course.
So Zendaya decided to stop by Children's Hospital LA, and after her visit, CMN Hospitals tweeted out their thanks:
And fans just love Zendaya for it. Check out their reactions below:
And this wasn't the first time she visited this hospital. Just a few weeks ago, she came with fellow Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019) co-stars, Tom Holland (Spider-Man) and Jake Gyllenhaal (Mysterio). And they all came in full costume!
Their mission was to surprise the children with an advance screening of Spider-Man: Far From Home. The movie wasn't coming out until the next day, so the children had a first look at one of the most anticipated movie of the year.
And it didn't stop there. The Spider-Man: Far From Home cast also did a surprise Q&A. And according to the hospital, they "brought infinite smiles to the kids".
This isn't at all out of character for Zendaya. Loyal fans will know that Zendaya has supported many causes.
For example, Zendaya became one of Convoy of Hope's ambassadors. She recorded "All of Me", a song by John Legend, and gave some of its proceeds to the organisation.
And that's not all.
Because Zendaya celebrated her 18th birthday with a campaign to help feed 150 children in Haiti, Tanzania and the Philippines. And what about her 20th birthday? Well, she made another campaign to raise $50,000 for Convoy's Women's Empowerment Initiative.
So, what are Zendaya's next roles?
Euphoria season 2 has just been announced, and Zendaya could be returning as Rue. But fans aren't sure since Rue's fate seems to be hanging on the balance after season one's finale.
However, after the announcement that Euphoria would be getting a second season, Zendaya tweeted out that she "literally just got the call". Hmm. So the producers are keeping her in the loop? Well, it sounds like she'll be returning.
And let's not forget her role in Dune (2020) as Chani. It's a science fiction film that follows a young man who has to travel to a dangerous planet to ensure the future of his people. Dune (2020) is set to release on 18 December next year.
Oh, and not to mention Spider-Man: Far From Home's sequel is already in development.
All in all, we think it's pretty safe to say that Zendaya's career is definitely on an upward trend.
...Who else agrees?
In the meantime, though, Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019) is in UK and US theatres now.
