Umbrella Academy Cast Reacts To Season 3 Being Renewed
"Oh my god! We’re back! Again! It’s official. Production for S3 of The Umbrella Academy begins in February."

On November 10, Netflix's Umbrella Academy officially announced that they have been renewed for a third season with production to start in February 2021.
The series announced the renewal on their social media:
I "Oh my god! We’re back! Again! It’s official. Production for S3 of The Umbrella Academy begins in February."
And of course, it wasn't long before the Umbrella Academy cast got wind of this and posted their reactions!
I "Oh my god we're back again." - Ellen Page (Vanya/Number 7)
I "Are you ready? ☂️" - Aidan Gallagher (Number Five)
I "Bihhh." - David Castañeda (Diego/Number Two)
I "II ROUND. THREE. II" - Emmy Raver-Lampman (Allison/Number Three)
I "We’re back baby!! Season 3 of @umbrellaacad is in the making! Stay tuned!" - Tom Hopper (Luther/Number One)
And of course, Justin H. Min (Ben/Number Six), as always, had the best (and longest!) reaction:
I "Almost one year ago to the day. and what a ride it's been. grateful for every moment. thank you, thank you, thank you. can't wait to get back to toronto and freeze to death. jk. i've already died twice. season 3, here we come."
Along with this, Justin also uploaded a video that he recorded back on 13 November 2019 where he was wearing Ben's iconic "double hoodie", stating that it was "officially" the last time he would be wearing the outfit.
I "It’s November 13 2019, it is seven forty four pm. And this is officially the last time I am wearing this outfit (Ben) so I thought I should remember the occasion. I’m a little sick, I apologize. I have had a lot of memories in this hoodie. This double hoodie situation and I won’t forget it. This is very sad actually. Thank you to the fans. The old Ben is dead and a new Ben is here."
Justin is most likely referring to Ben's death in season 2 as his new "alternate" self is seen wearing a uniform at the end of the season. Judging from this new Ben's style, it seems very unlikely that the "double hoodie" will be making a return to the series.
Meanwhile, Netflix also has another great surprise for Umbrella Academy fans. Turns out, the Umbrella Academy icons are now available for users to use as their Netflix account profile icon!

Fans will be able to choose any one of the seven dysfunctional siblings as their Netflix profile icon, as well as the choice of Pogo, Reginald's intelligent chimpanzee assistant.
