On October 8, fans freaked out when they found out that Spider-Man: Far From Home's Tom Holland is now bald. (He's not, by the way. It's just a buzz cut.)

​

Let's rewind.

 

First of all, it all began when a fan uploaded a clip on Twitter, where Tom Holland is giving a shout out to a fan.

This is the clip that started it all since it clearly showed off Tom's new haircut. (The haircut is in preparation for his next role in Cherry that's currently filming). Anyway, Twitter was soon flooded with fans' outrage at Tom's new haircut, and soon after, #TomHolland started trending.

 

Amidst all this outrage, there were also fans who were extremely angry. Not at Tom's supposedly 'bald' haircut, but because of how the 'fans' were reacting.

Fans are even comparing this situation to the time when 'Thor stans' unstanned Thor after Avengers: Endgame (2019) was released.

For those who don't know, these fans are referring to the character 'Thor', who after their defeat in the Avengers in Avengers: Infinity War (2018), gained weight and suffered from PTSD and depression in Avengers: Endgame (2019).

Anyway, back to Tom's haircut. Despite all the outrage, there are those who don't see anything wrong with it at all. In fact, they like it.
