Tana Mongeau RELEASES Behind The Scenes "TANA By Tana" Perfume Commercial (Vlog)

On January 30, Tana Mongeau uploaded a behind the scenes vlog of her "TANA By Tana" perfume commercial to her YouTube channel.
In the video titled, "what really went wrong at my perfume commercial", Tana first revealed to fans that inspiration behind the name "TANA by Tana" was "celebrity narcissism".
I "It is called Tana by tana, and it is a play on celebrity narcissism. It's a lot [...] of Tanas together with a lot [...] to say about TANA by Tana."
For those who don't know, the perfume commercial featured Tana with different personas (all played by herself) including "ASMR Tana", "Drama Alert Tana", "Woke Tana", "Apology Tana" and "High Tana".
To make it more complicated, each of these personas required a completely different face full of makeup! Tana revealed that her makeup artist, Meg, had to manually search for images of Tana in her previous videos for references.

Tana then announced that her favorite persona to play was definitely the "Mukbang Tana" and that she had really tried to channel her inner "Trisha Paytas" for it. (Trisha Paytas is known for her Mukbang videos.)
Meanwhile, Tana revealed that she used Shane Dawson's Conspiracy Palette as part of her makeup for her commercial.
For those who don't know, Shane Dawson's Conspiracy Palette features a shade called "Tanacon", which Tana has since given her opinion on.
Tana then told fans that ever since being gifted the palette from Shane "weeks ago", she had been using the "Tanacon" shade every day.
Fun fact: Tana's best friend and YouTuber, Ashly Schwan, was also present for the shoot. She ended up playing Tana's body double.
"TANA by Tana" sold out in less than 76 minutes, although it hasn't been without its controversies. Fans have since criticized its price, as well as its similarity to Hot Topic's perfume. Tana has since responded to the comparison.
