On October 29, Stranger Things' official writers uploaded some bloopers from Stranger Things season 3, and fans are freaking out!
Check out Stranger Writers' tweet below:
I "it’s been a fun ride and y’all are so amazing that we’re going to celebrate with the Duffers’ favorite bloop from s3!"
Watch the clip here.
The scene involves Finn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler), Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven) and David Harbour (Chief Jim Hopper), and it's from Stranger Things season 3 episode 1 (titled "Chapter One: Suzie, Do You Copy?").
Basically, it's the scene where Hopper had just attempted his "heart-to-heart" speech to Mike and Eleven, before he abruptly aborts and makes up a lie to Mike about his grandmother being ill.
Fun fact: This was Matt and Ross Duffers' favourite bloopers from season 3.
Unfortunately, though, there's a particular word that David just couldn't say it without snorting or laughing, to the amusement of his Stranger Things' co-stars, Finn and Millie.
And that word?
Well, it was none other than "grandma".
After a couple of takes, Millie herself burst out laughing, asking David good-naturedly, "What's wrong with you?" in her sweet British accent. Finn even gave a pep talk to David, saying, "You got this."
Finally, David just couldn't take it anymore, and wheezed out, "That word is so funny!"
In the end, it took more than 5 takes.
Will there be more Stranger Things bloopers?
Stranger Writers shared the blooper to celebrate reaching 500,000 followers on Twitter. Mischievously, they tweeted out: “can you imagine what will happen when we reach a million?!😈”
Um... time for a follow spree, anyone?
But there could be a quicker way to get some more bloopers. Check out this tweet by Stranger Writers:
I “ask nicely and @Stranger_Things could give you some more?”
And excitingly, Stranger Things responded with this!
I "WE'VE GOT SOME MOOOORE BLOOPS. see ya 11/6."
They also added:
I "you want more bloopers? be here for ST day 11/6 or be square."
Dedicated fans will know that November 6 is Stranger Things day (#strangerthingsday). So here's hoping more bloopers will be posted on that day!
Fun fact: Stranger Writers later poked fun of the blooper by tweeting out: “legend has it that @DavidKHarbour still can't say "grandma" without laughing”
Stranger Things season 4 is expected to start shooting early next year in January 2020.
