It's a well-known fact that Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and Mike Wheeler (Finn Wolfhard) is a popular pairing, and many fans ship the two together as 'Mileven'. However, some fans completely disagree.
Turns out not all fans are happy with Mileven and their relationship.
Why? Basically, it's because they wholeheartedly believe that Eleven is way better off with anyone else other than Mike. And these fans are clearly making it known by voicing their thoughts on Twitter.
Check out their tweets below:
So which character do fans think Eleven is better off with?
Can you guess?
Well, it looks like they're rooting for 'Elmax' (AKA 'Sillie') And for those of you who don't know, that's the pairing for Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and Max (Sadie Sink).
After all, Eleven spends most of her time with Max in Stranger Things season 3 and fans couldn't help but notice their amazing onscreen chemistry.
Fun Fact: Fans actually shipped the two together since season 2 despite Eleven seemingly hating Max. Fans thought that they were similar in some ways and so they rooted for the pairing. Fanfiction and fanart of these two were common.
So when season 3 rolled around, fans became even more obsessed with 'Elmax' and it spurred on more fan activity.
And Eleven and Max did bond a lot in season 3. Remember Max teaching Eleven the ways about boys and relationships? Or how it was Max who showed Eleven how to have fun without Mike, for example, by going shopping and having sleepovers? And how can you forget Max advising Eleven on which comic books to read?
Basically, fans are tweeting that Eleven is definitely better off dating Max, with one fan even insisting that "Max was a better girlfriend to Eleven this season than Mike was".
And to top it all off, the two actresses are very close in real life.
Wait, how close are the two Stranger Things' actresses?
Well, when they're not filming, they're goofing around together, taking selfies and singing songs. Did you see the duet that they did together from Frozen? It was fabulous.
Oh, and not to mention, in an interview with Harper's BAZAAR, Millie also joked:
I "Dating is not on my bucket list. Though I would like to marry [costar] Sadie Sink!”
Who else is thinking that that's the sweetest thing ever?
In the meantime, Stranger Things season 3 is available to stream on Netflix, and Godzilla: King of the Monster (2019) is in theatres now.
