On February 9, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series' Sofia Wylie (Gina) uploaded a heartfelt video to YouTube, titled, "Thank you to my fans 😘", expressing her gratitude to fans.

"Hey, guys. So I just wanted to come on here and try to express like a fraction of how grateful I am to each of you.

Sofia explains that this might sound "so cheesy" as several celebrities often say how "grateful" they are and come off as "fake", but she assures fans that she's "not trying to be fake at all".

She tells fans that she realizes how "lucky and blessed" she is and that she's been given "once in a lifetime" experiences as well as meeting "once in a lifetime people".

"[...] I'm especially thankful for each and every one of you for all the support that you show me every single day."

According to Sofia, all the support she receives "does not go unnoticed".

"I promise you, I really do see all the amazing, kind things you say to me and it means the world. And even just like, 'Hey, Sofia, I hope you're doing well. I hope you're drinking water today.' Like those little things, they really mean a lot."

Sofia adds that these comments affect her in "such a positive way". She notes that there is a lot of "hate and negativity in the world" so when she receives nice comments, it makes her "heart so happy".

She continues to say that she wants to be able to give that sort of feeling back to fans, especially to those who had given it to her.

"The feeling of just pure joy, the feeling that I'm doing something good. Because yes, acting and dancing and singing, it's all amazing, but at the end of the day, I hope that I can actually do something with my life. And you guys truly make it feel like I am."

Sofia reiterates again that she is "grateful" to fans, and thanks those who make "edits" of her and for learning a TikTok dance that she choreographed by herself.

"Just the little things, they really do matter."

Finally, Sofia ends the heartfelt YouTube video with this:

And I just really love all of you guys, like a lot. [...] I hope you guys have an amazing day and you just realize how much you matter to me, matter to all of your family and all your friends and that you never feel alone. Because feeling alone is the worst feeling in the world. But you're not at all."
