Riverdale's Lili Reinhart (Betty) tells fans that her co-stars at Riverdale are "family", and that she is "lucky" to have grown up with them.

 

For those who don't know, CW's Riverdale first aired on January 26, 2017. Fast forward, and season 5 has just premiered its first episode on January 20, 2021.

 

Including filming for the first season, it has been five years altogether, and fans are asking Lili for her thoughts on her years on Riverdale.

 

On January 27, one fan tweeted:

In response, Lili reveals that it's the "beautiful friendships" that she has made with her fellow Riverdale co-stars that makes her emotional. She explains that she has been "very lucky" to have grown up with the cast and that it made her the woman she is now.

I "The beautiful friendships that I’ve made. I was lucky enough to get this job and call myself a working actress.. but it makes me emotional to know that this show and these people have helped craft who I am as a woman now. I feel very lucky to have grown up with my cast ❤️"

When another fan asked Lili what she would tell her "younger self from the pilot", Lili replied that she would tell her younger self to "cherish getting to know" her castmates as they would soon become her family.

In an Instagram post, Lili later adds that it has been a wild ride since the first Riverdale episode. She calls the cast "babies who had no idea that [they] were about to become family".
