Riverdale’s star Lili Reinhart AKA Betty Cooper slammed President Donald Trump on Twitter after the latest sexual assault allegation against him surfaced last week.
The latest accuser, E Jean Carroll, is an American journalist and an Elle advice columnist.
...She's also the 16th woman to accuse Donald Trump.
And what did Trump say to this?
"I'll say it with great respect: Number one, she's not my type. Number two, it never happened. It never happened, OK?”
Hmm.
Anyway, when this story hit the headlines on June 21, Riverdale's star, Lili Reinhart, immediately tweeted out:

Anyway, back to Lili Reinhart.
This isn't the first time Lili has tweeted out her opinions on important issues. For example, she slammed America's legal system after the shootings by saying that it 'does not value the lives of innocent children'.
She's also retweeted the Sudan's crisis.
Clearly, Lili is putting her social media platform to good use, and with her 2.7 million Twitter followers, she can easily spread word about these issues.
Also, who has noticed that she's tweeting differently?
It's a sudden and complete change from her usual tweets about light topics, right? For example, Lili used to tweet about Betty needing to upgrade her iPhone 4 (reference to her Riverdale character) or how she was reading a Kermit text while hilariously doing her Kermit's voice impression of him in her head.
