Yesterday, the trailer for the Charlie's Angels reboot hit social media platforms and wow, let's just say that people have a lot to say about it. But mostly about Twilight's star, Kristen Stewart, though.
She's actually trending on Twitter.
And let's just say that not everyone is happy with her being one of the angels.
Let's rewind:
Does anyone else remember the Twilight saga? Well, when it popped up on the big screen, Kristen Stewart became a household name for her portrayal of lovesick Bella Swan, who was, dare we say, irrevocably in love with Edward Cullen.
...And then she dated Robert Pattinson, the actor who played Edward, in real life. Cue the screams of fans who have long since shipped the pair.
Unfortunately, and despite gaining a ridiculous amount of fans, Kristen became known for her 'stiff and wooden' acting skills. It also didn't help that in her subsequent films, she appeared to use the same acting technique as her previous role.
Oof. This earned her Razzies nominations for 'Worst Actress' for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, Breaking Dawn Part 1 and 2, and Snow White and the Huntsman.
Three years in a row.
And that wasn't all. The whole cheating scandal with director Rupert Sanders while she was still dating Robert essentially ruined her image big time.
So it's been a while since she's starred in a big-budget movie.
Until now, that is.
Kristen Stewart is starring as one of Charlie's Angels in this 2019 reboot. And she's dragging in her unwanted image along with her.
Let's just say not everybody is happy with it.

Oof. As if that wasn't bad enough, this Charlie's Angels reboot comes after the Ghostbusters and Ocean's Eleven reboots.
...Which everyone knows performed a whole lot worse than expected.
Adding another concern into the mix is how Kristen won't be able to fill in Cameron Diaz's shadow, considering how amazingly iconic her role was.
Oh dear. So if this reboot tanks, we know who everyone will be pointing the finger at. If these tweets carry any truth in it, some people are already preparing to boycott the movie, just for the very fact that Kristen is starring in it.

Or maybe it's the exact opposite?
Kristen Stewart is trending on Twitter? Then the publicity this brings for Charlie's Angels is insane. And guess what?
