Ever since Stranger Things debuted on Netflix, it has gained millions of loyal fans and massive hype. Even on the day season 3 was released, fans were already asking when season 4 was going to be released.

On the other hand, some people are calling out Stranger Things season 3 and saying that it's totally unrealistic.

[SPOILER ALERT]

Supernatural themes aside, fans are looking into how some things just don't seem quite right.

For example, why was it so easy to intercept a Russian transmission? What about the fact that the kids were able to translate a whole Russian paragraph just by ear alone?

And how on earth did they manage to escape from armed Russian guards in a secured facility?!

Check out what other things fans are complaining about:

However, the rest of the fans are rushing to Twitter to defend the Stranger Things series. And how do they do it?

By using humour, of course! These fans tweeted using humour to say what else they thought was unrealistic in Stranger Things.

Check it out:

It's brilliant! Who else is laughing at the tweets?

And we kind of dig this!

Defusing the situation with humour is always the best way forward, right? Who else agrees?

Now back to the topic. Unfortunately, movies aren’t always able to make everything perfectly realistic. There are even dedicated websites that analyses movies for its realism.

For example, Screen Rant often publishes articles on ‘Things about [name of movie/series] that make no sense’. Googling any show for their realism will most likely guarantee you results explaining why said show is unrealistic.

Even our beloved Game of Thrones series doesn’t escape this unscathed.

So there’s always going to be an element in a storyline that doesn’t always make sense. But if you analyse every single movie for realism, it just takes out the joy of watching a story unfold, plain and simple.

I guess all we can really do, is just accept that fiction is just that. Fiction. Because if you want something completely realistic, then only true crime documentaries can ever satisfy you.

...But then you’d be stuck in the real world instead of exploring an amazing make-believe world where anything can happen and where the supernatural we can only dream of can exist.

And who’d want that?

So Stranger Things season 4? Bring it on.
