On January 13, Jordan tweeted out his praise for High School Musical: The Musical: The Series' Olivia Rodrigo (Nini). Nini has since responded, and fans are loving their entire conversation on Twitter!
Let's rewind.
It all started on January 13 when Jordan tweeted out his praise for Olivia's singing voice and her choices as an actress.
Check out Jordan's tweet below:
I "Last thoughts before I board my flight. Anything @Olivia_Rodrigo touches, consider me a fan. #HSMTMTS is fire. Her voice is obviously phenomenal. BUT CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE SOPHISTICATION OF HER CHOICES AS AN ACTOR?! Mkay gnight."
To which Olivia responded:
I "boy u best believe imma be watching u kill it as evan. this means the whole world. feeling is so mutual!"
For those who don't know, Olivia is referring to Jordan's role on Broadway's Dear Evan Hansen as Evan Hanson. (Dear Evan Hansen focuses on a teenager with a social anxiety disorder, who writes letters to himself in an attempt to manage his anxiety.)
Anyway, to Olivia's response, Jordan tweeted back:
I "Ugh I just don’t even know what to say to you. My heart is full. Can’t wait for IRL friendship 😭💜"
The conversation didn't stop there as three days later, Olivia tweeted a new picture of herself in real life with Jordan Fisher, Andrew Barth Feldman and Cam Kasky, captioning it "the BOYS".
*Andrew was the previous Evan Hanson in the Broadway's Dear Evan Hansen.
Jordan then replied:
I "You’re just wonderful. Literal ray of sunshine. I can’t wait for more friendship 💜"
Altogether, fans are loving the exchange between Olivia and Jordan and are excited at the newly formed friendship.
In other news, Olivia Rodrigo's original song, 'All I Want', from the High School Musical: The Musical: The Series soundtrack, reached #98 on Billboard Chart's #Hot100 entries on January 14. This marks Olivia's first song to be placed in the top 100.
