On September 4, Millie Bobby Brown went on Instagram Live to answer fans' questions about her new beauty line, "Florence by Mills", and she reveals how she doesn't want to put anything else on her skin.

 

Firstly, though, what is 'Florence'?

 

Basically, it's her new beauty and skincare line, consisting of 'Swimming Under The Eyes' Gel Pads, 'Cheek Me Later' Cream Blushes, 'Tint N Tame' Brow Gels, 'Zero Chill' Face Mists and more.

 

However, because of Millie's age, quite a lot of fans were confused with who the target market for Florence actually was. The Stranger Things star's Instagram live feed was pretty much filled with fans asking Millie whether they were for "little girls".

 

A slightly offended Millie then answers fans:

I"Like I keep reiterating, Florence's for everyone. [And] I'm definitely not [a] “little girl”.

(Just a few months later, Millie will be turning 16.) Fans also asked if Florence were also inclusive of boys, and the answer was a definite yes.

 

 

I"Florence is for everyone. [...] This is for everyone. This isn’t for just one specific gender at all."

 

 

However, what Millie's fans were most curious about, is whether Millie herself will actually use her own products from Florence from now. Millie replied that she definitely will be using Florence starting now...

 

...But the reason isn't just because it's her own beauty line.

 

She explains that it's because she knows exactly what ingredients have gone into her products and she knows that that's what she wants for her skin.

I"This isn’t me just having to use my own products. This is genuinely because I know what’s in my skincare and beauty line. I wouldn’t want to really put anything else on my skin.

​

I"Obviously there are things I really have to, but like I said, I really love the things that I’ve put into the brand, so for me, I know what I want for my skin, and that’s definitely Florence."

 

 

So what exactly made Millie decide to create 'Florence by Mills', the beauty line?

 

According to Millie, she isn’t an expert on skincare. Despite this, she wanted to create a beauty line because she wanted to “create a brand that’s actually informational” and “tells you what you’re putting on your face”.

 

And it all stemmed from her acting career. As an actress, Millie revealed that from the age of 10, she'd been putting on make-up before going on set. Due to this, she had had to take care of her skin seriously.

 

 

I"Everything you put on your face goes into your bloodstream. I’ve known this from ten years old putting makeup on the make-up chair right before I go on to work. So, I really take my skin seriously."

​

 

In the meantime, Stranger Things season 1-3 is available to stream on Netflix, and Stranger Things season 4 is expected to start shooting early next year in 2020.
