In an interview with Extra, Millie Bobby Brown insists she was Stranger Things' co-star Finn Wolfhard's first kiss. Amidst both the interviewer's and Noah Schnapp's laughter, of course.
Yep.
And it all started with the ongoing debate on whether or not a kiss in kindergarten counts as a first kiss.
But let's rewind.
As fans know, this is something that is often brought up in Stranger Things interviews with Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven) and Finn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler). And they're always on the opposite side of the argument.
Basically, whenever the "first kiss" question pops up, Millie adamantly insists that Finn was her first kiss and she was Finn's first kiss. To which Finn completely and utterly denies by insisting that his first kiss was in kindergarten.
And...
Cue the adorable squabble that comes without fail.
Because Millie would then explain why that isn't the case. In this particular interview, Millie explains further by saying that kindergarten kisses don’t mean anything because the kids were only doing it because it was "cool".
And Noah Schnapp (Will Byers), true to his name as being Millie’s best friend, jumped in to defend Millie by saying that kindergarten kisses do not count.
I“Oh my god, that doesn’t count!”
Noah then reveals that even he kissed a girl in kindergarten, and he clearly doesn't count it as his first kiss since he mentions in one of his YouTube videos that his first kiss was during the filming of Stranger Things season 1.
Then, amidst good humour, both Millie and Noah suddenly, and hilariously, peer pressures Finn to admit that Millie was his first kiss:
I Noah: "Say it's your first kiss!"
Overlapping Noah, Millie joins in the frenzy:
IMillie: "Say it! I'm your first kiss! I'm your first kiss!"
To which Finn finally caves, and while laughing, says:
I Finn: "It was my first kiss!"
How adorable is that?!
In the meantime, though, can we talk about Finn's other kissing scene? Yes, we're talking about the one in The Goldfinch (2019) where Finn kisses another boy.
Oh, you haven't heard about it?
Well, this is the best time to find out all about it. (Psst, just click on the link).
Until then, Stranger Things season 3 is available to be streamed on Netflix, and The Goldfinch (2019) hits US theatres on September 13.
