Stranger Things' Millie Bobby Brown and her sister, Paige, is set to executive produce 'A Time Lost' for Netflix with Anna Klassen attached as the scriptwriter. Of course, this led to fans bombarding Anna's personal email to ask for roles.

Yep.

Let's rewind.

When the news was first released that Anna would be adapting the story, Anna shared her excitement on Twitter.

Check out her enthusiastic tweet below:

“Millie Bobby Brown asked me to write a movie for her... is probably the coolest sentence I will ever write. I'm so excited to write this film and share a story that is deeply personal to Millie and her family.”

Of course, the next day, hundreds of fans were DMing her on Twitter.

And that's not all. Apparently, a pretty big number of fans had dug even deeper and had actually found out her personal email.

And that's how Anna's inbox became pretty much became filled with emails from Millie's fans asking her for roles.

Anna even had to address the whole situation with a tweet:

"Very thankful for the excitement surrounding my next movie but now my Instagram is populated exclusively by Millie Bobby Brown fan accounts & my gmail is filled with teens asking me to cast them. (For the record, screenwriters have nothing to do with casting.)"

"Also how did they get my email?! Those sneaky youths!"

It appears that fans were hoping that Anna might get a say in who was cast, so Anna had to set the record straight to fans.

So, what will “A Time Lost” be about?

Basically, it's a feature film based on an original story that the talented Stranger Things' Millie and her sister, Paige, wrote together. Which, by the way, took years of writing and developing. Also, it'll be produced under Millie’s production company, PCMA Productions.

The storyline will focus on two long-feuding families in Long Island (an island off the East Coast of the United States). However, when one of their teenage daughters is diagnosed with cancer, the situation quickly reaches a critical point.

Check out what Millie had to say about it in an interview:

“We are so grateful to Netflix for their confidence in us and this beautiful story, which we have spent years writing and developing.”

“It’s about friendship, family and overcoming obstacles when it feels like the world is pushing you down. It’s been a labor of love, literally.”

It looks like Millie can now add “writer” into her long list of achievements, don't you think?

So what could've inspired this concept?

Well, Millie could've chosen to include cancer as a plot point because of her long-time support for the Olivia Hope Foundation, a cancer charity for children.

“The Olivia Hope Foundation was created based on Olivia’s hope: that someday, children with cancer will not have to suffer the way she did.” - Olivia Hope Foundation

Not only is Millie currently an honorary board member, but she was also a close friend of Olivia who sadly passed away after her 15 month battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia.

Olivia had been a Stranger Things’ fan, and after they met, Millie stayed in touch with her throughout her treatment.

So far, Millie has raised $40,000 for the foundation after auctioning off tickets to a private lunch with her. And even now, Millie still keeps the foundation close to her heart. Loyal fans will know that Millie's current beauty and skincare line “Florence by Mills” will be donating part of its proceeds to the foundation.

Until then, Stranger Things season 1-3 is available to stream on Netflix, and Stranger Things season 4 is expected to start shooting early next year in 2020.

Enola Holmes is expected to premiere next year in 2020.
