Stranger Things’ Maya Hawke Wants Scenes With Finn Wolfhard
And by the way, Maya had also auditioned for the part of Disney’s Little Mermaid.

In an interview with Buzzfeed, Maya Hawke reveals that she wants scenes with fellow Stranger Things' co-star Finn Wolfhard and that she auditioned for Disney's Little Mermaid live action.
Yep.
Let's rewind:
Stranger Things’ Maya Hawke AKA Robin is the newest cast member to season 3, and she hit the floor flying when she immediately became an iconic and well-loved addition to the Scoops Troops gang.
However, her character spent most of the time behind an ice cream counter being the best employee of the month ever...
(Yes, dingus. We said it).
...Or sprinting around underground in the Russian's secret base with fellow Scoops Troops' Steve (Joe Keery), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo) and sassy Erica (Priah Ferguson).
In fact, she was too busy figuring out the code and trying to stay alive, that her character, Robin, didn't have the chance to interact with many of the other main cast.
So fans are hoping that she'll be able to spend a little more time with the other characters in season 4.
When asked in a Buzzfeed interview about which character Maya would like to see Robin interact with in Stranger Things season 4, well, Maya didn't hesitate one bit.
She chose Finn in a heartbeat.
I“Mike! For sure, Finn’s the best. [I] really want to interact with Mike.”
And they do seem pretty close behind the scenes. In one Instagram post, Finn uploaded a picture of himself and Maya lying down on the floor during "no shoot Mondays". They were both snuggled up pretty close, and they definitely looked more than comfortable around each other.
Of course, fans have other ideas. Most are demanding for Robin to become close friends with Nancy (you know, similar to how Max and Eleven are friends). Some are even calling for Nancy to come out as bisexual so that she could end up with Robin!
That would definitely be a great addition to the LGBTQ+ characters.
Now, what other roles are Maya interested in?
In case fans haven't heard, Maya had previously been accused by fans of nepotism after fans found out she had a small role in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood (2019). (Read more about it here).
But it turns out her family name doesn't open all doors. In the interview, Maya revealed that she'd really wanted a role in Disney's new upcoming Little Mermaid live action, but she didn't manage to secure a part after auditioning.
What a shame. Even if she couldn't be Ariel, it would have been nice to see her as a mermaid. Perhaps one of Ariel's sister?
We're pretty sure she'll attract a lot of fans...
...And we're also pretty sure we'll be one of them. Who else is with us?!
In the meantime, Stranger Things season 1-3 is available to be streamed on Netflix, and Stranger Things season 4 is expected to premiere in late 2021. Once Upon A Time In Hollywood (2019) is in US theatres now.
