Louis Partridge Set To Star In Peter Pan Adaptation "Lost Girls" (2021)

Enola Holmes’ Louis Partridge (Tewkesbury) will be playing the role of Peter Pan in an upcoming independent film called The Lost Girls (2021).
The Lost Girls is a new and darker take on Peter Pan and focuses on the Darling women of all four generations. It follows Wendy (Jane’s daughter) as she attempts to protect her relationship with her daughter, Berry, as she “comes into Pan’s orbit”.
In this Peter Pan adaptation, the Darling women's image of men have been tarnished by Peter Pan, and they're "desperate to escape the hold he has on them".
What was The Lost Girls (2021) adapted from?
It was adapted from the novel The Lost Girls by Laurie Fox. In this new take, Peter Pan is painted in a more darker side, similar to how he was portrayed in ABC’s Once Upon A Time series.
What exactly can fans expect from The Lost Girls (2021)?
According to Louis, The Lost Girls (2021) will focus mainly on the women and feminism:
I "I’m a part of an independent film [...] called “Lost Girls” and it’s sort of a new take on the Peter Pan story. [...] It’s more centred around the women and feminism. It’s got a lot of that going on for it as well.”
Other themes also include motherhood, love and freedom.
Who are the notable cast members?
Notable cast members include Joely Richardson, who stars as Jane. She is known for her roles as Glinda in the Emerald City TV series (2017) and Catherine Parr in The Tudors (2010) TV series.
Next up is Iain Glen, who stars as Hook. He is known for his roles as Bruce Wayne in Titans (2019) TV series and Jorah Mormont in Game of Thrones. Julian Ovenden stars as Clayton. She is known for her roles as William De Nogaret in Knightfall (2017-19) TV series and Charles Blake in Downton Abbey.
Finally, Emily Carey, teen Wendy, is known for her role as Grace Beauchamp-Strachan in Casualty TV series.
Fun fact: Livia De Paolis stars as Wendy. She is also the director, writer and producer of Lost Girls. She is known for directing, acting and writing Emoticon ;) (2014) and Awestruck (2013).
Are Emma Thompson, Ellen Burstyn and Gai Wise in Lost Girls (2021)?
Previously, it was reported that Emma Thompson was slated to play Jane in a cameo role, Ellen Burstyn to play the grandmother (original Wendy Darling) and Gai Wise as Berry (Wendy’s daughter).
However, for unknown reasons, there had been a significant change to the cast.
Presently, Siobhan Hewlett stars as the grandmother (original Wendy Darling) Joely Richardson as Jane, and Ella-Rae Smith as Berry.
Lost Girls is currently in post-production and is expected to premiere on December 25, 2021.
