What Is Joshua Rush Up To Now? A Job With Utah Democratic Party!

On February 2, Andi Mack's Joshua Rush (Cyrus Goodman) revealed to fans that he has a new job in Salt Lake City as a Communications Director for the Utah Democratic Party.

I "Today I started as communications director with the @UtahDemocrats. I’m honored to be trusted with the role and am incredibly excited to be a part of the team bringing strong democratic leadership to my home state!"
Joshua is also officially listed as one of the staff members on the Utah Democratic Party's website.

Altogether, fans are congratulating Joshua on his new job as a Communications Director. Joshua has since thanked his fans, saying that he was "stoked" about his new job and that it was "good work with good people".

Joshua Rush was interested in politics prior to his job as a Communications Director.
Back in 2018, Joshua started a news series titled "News in a Rush" where he uploaded weekly minute long clips, educating fans on politics and current events.
In the same year, Joshua volunteered for the congressional campaigns of "Texas’ Beto O’Rourke, Utah’s Ben McAdams, and California’s Harley Rouda, Katie Hill and Katie Porter", and served as an Under 18 Ambassador for National Absentee Ballot Day.
In 2019, Joshua was an intern at the United States House of Representatives, and afterwards revealed that he labelled himself as a "democrat", though on the "more progressive wing".
Joshua was also a campaign surrogate for Bernie Sanders 2020 presidential campaign, before he publicly supported Senator Ed Markey's election the same year.
Joshua isn't the first Disney star to start working in politics. Caroline Sunshine, known for her role in Disney's Shake It Up as Trinka, worked in the White House as a press assistant back in 2018 when Donald Trump was president.
Will there be a Andi Mack season 4?
In other news, fans are still asking Joshua whether there will be an Andi Mack season 4. For those who don't know, Joshua is known for his role as Cyrus Goodman in Disney Channel's Andi Mack.
However, on January 31 earlier this year, Joshua tweeted that he has no knowledge of a season 4 renewal despite talks of Hulu possibly picking up the series back in 2020.
