Jeffree Star SPEAKS OUT About Missing Peppermint Frost Palette From Mystery Boxes

On December 24, Jeffree Star addressed the missing Peppermint Frost Palette from the Deluxe Mystery Boxes in a series of Instagram Stories.

Let's rewind.

Jeffree Star initially released Mystery Boxes that was available in three different tiers at different price points. Those who bought the highest tier (Deluxe) was guaranteed an exclusive Peppermint Frost Highlighter palette in the box. The palette is exclusive as it will not be restocked once the boxes sold out.

However, a lot of fans who ordered the Deluxe Mystery Box found out they were missing the Peppermint Frost palette. Around 1000 orders had the exclusive item missing.

On December 24, Jeffree addressed the situation in his Instagram Stories and told fans that he was made aware of it just a few days ago. He explained that he investigated with his team and it turned out that someone had made an error that resulted in the missing palettes.

The person in question has since been "let go" as it was believed that they'd known about the error.

Unfortunately, those who hadn't received the Peppermint Frost palette will have to miss out on the exclusive item as it has completely sold out.

So, what exactly is Jeffree Star going to do to make it up to these fans who missed out?

Jeffree apologised, saying:

I "I am truly horrified. I’m so sorry to anyone that was so excited to get it. To open something up and not get what you wanted is horrible."

He then continues to say that he'll be issuing full refunds to those affected.

Jeffree ends the Instagram Stories by telling fans that in 2020 he'll be building a more "trustworthy" team. This means there'll be a lot of new positions available at Jeffree Star Cosmetics in 2020 in the LA area.
