On January 28, the day after BTS appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden, BTS fans (ARMYs) wanted to give thanks to James in their special way. By donating, of course!
Let's rewind.
BTS appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden on January 28, and James Corden has since uploaded 3 separate videos of the interview on the show's official YouTube channel.
The three videos were uploaded just 12 hours ago, and they've already accumulated over 9.5 million views altogether, with the latter currently trending at #1 on YouTube.
Anyway, after ARMYs tuned in to watch the interview, they were impressed with the way James Corden interacted with BTS, and wanted to thank him for his warm welcome.
How did ARMYs thank James Corden?
Of course, if you know anything about ARMYs, you'll be aware that they often thank celebrities by donating to their charity of choice!
An ARMY quickly found an old tweet of James Corden from over a month ago, where he brought awareness to the charity, 'Magic Breakfast'.
I "If you can, take a look at this wonderful charity @magic_breakfast I found their work to be inspiring and necessary for children in the UK who desperately need help. Particularly at this moment in time x"
This BTS fan then retweeted it along with this suggestion to fellow ARMYs:
I "So James Corden treats BTS and ARMY always so kindly and makes everyone feel welcomed at his show. There is a charity called @ magic_breakfast that he supports. Maybe we could donate there to say thank you! 💜 "
James Corden soon saw the tweet, and expressed his gratitude to ARMYs:
I "Oh man. This BTS army is real and full of love and it’s great! You have no idea how many children you have helped. Thank you thank you thank you x"
So, how much did BTS ARMYs actually raise?
In just a day, ARMYs raised enough money to fund 25,000 breakfasts.

This isn't the first time ARMYs have expressed their thanks to a US celebrity that was connected to BTS. Back on June 20, 2019, Halsey praised ARMYs when they donated to a charity in her name, saying that ARMYs were "awesome". This came after her collaboration with BTS on "Boys With Luv".
