"And I asked recently... It’s still happening, I just don’t know when. But hopefully it happens. I mean, I couldn’t imagine it’s not going to happen because we’ve been promising it for so long."

On November 22, IT Chapter Two star Finn Wolfhard (Teen Richie Tozier) updated fans on the IT Supercut project.

During a Fanmio Meet and Greet with Finn, a fan asked for any updates regarding the IT supercut.

In response, Finn said that he had recently asked about it and believes it's still happening although Andy Muschietti, the director of IT, is currently busy working on The Flash (2022).

"Yeah, I’ve been trying to figure out what’s going on. Andy, who’s the director of IT, he’s doing the new Flash movies so he’s been super busy. And I asked recently... It’s still happening, I just don’t know when. But hopefully it happens. I mean, I couldn’t imagine it’s not going to happen because we’ve been promising it for so long."

For those who don’t know, Andy first talked about releasing an IT supercut back in August last year. It would combine both the IT movies together, as well as include deleted scenes and additional footage that would be shot when possible. The supercut could end up being over 6 hours long as Andy revealed that the original cut for IT Chapter Two was actually four hours long.

In the meantime, Finn has been asking for blooper reels for IT movies, so if the supercut is delayed, then at least fans will have something to watch.

“I also asked for a blooper reel for the first movie. And the second one. I mean, there's so many good bloopers from the second one too.”

Stranger Things season 4 is currently filming.
