Stranger Things' Finn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler) has a TikTok account. Fans, however, reacted with surprise. Why? Because his username, @bruised_soup, is a little random.

 

Let's rewind.

 

Fans are already aware that Stranger Things co-star Noah Schnapp (Will Byers) has a TikTok account which he regularly uploads to. Millie Bobby Brown has since guest-starred in one of Noah's videos, although it was quickly deleted due to haters. (Read more about that here).

However, Finn's TikTok account fell under the radar as he didn't publicly announce the account on his social media. And to make things more confusing, his username is @bruised_soup, with his name written as "Fink". This made it hard for fans to find the account and when they did, were unable to confirm if it was actually his due to Finn not yet receiving a "verified" check mark.

 

Despite this, Finn has had the account for a while, and his first TikTok video was uploaded on July 14, 2019.

 

 

But, fans are catching on that it's Finn's official TikTok account.

 

Finn's most recent upload to TikTok was on January 25, and it poked fun at employees not letting customers use the bathroom with the reasoning that it was for "employees only". It gained over 1 million views in just an hour. As of now, the video currently has over 19.5 million views and over 3.8 million likes.

 

At the time of writing, Finn currently has 12 videos and over 1.8 million followers. It jumped to this number after being at a 6 figure in the span of a week or so.

 

Unfortunately, though, it doesn't appear as if Finn will be uploading regularly to TikTok as his upload pattern is currently erratic. 5 videos were uploaded between July 14 -17 while 4 were uploaded between January 21 - 25.

 

 

So, how did fans react?

 

Many fans in the comments were shocked to learn that Finn was on TikTok, asking themselves why they hadn't found out sooner.

Meanwhile, other fans are comparing Finn's recent TikTok video to Vine, stating that it had a certain "Vine" quality. Before Vine was discontinued, Finn had had a Vine account under the username "wolfy134". His videos would often feature It (2017) cast members, which included Jack Dylan Grazer (Eddie Kaspbrak) and Wyatt Oleff (Stanley Uris), as well as other real-life friends.

 

Finn Wolfhard will be directing a short film called "Night Shifts" which he also wrote and financed through a crowdfunding campaign. Stranger Things season 4 is expected to start filming this month.
