Finn Wolfhard SPEAKS OUT About The Role Of "Young Loki" And Its Rumours

On January 21, Stranger Things' Finn Wolfhard addressed the rumours of being offered the role of "Young Loki" in an interview with Access, at the premiere of The Turning at TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, Calfornia.
During the red carpet interview, Finn was asked if he had secured the role of "Young Loki" in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

I "You look a little bit like Loki from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and there are some unconfirmed rumours that you might just be playing [Loki]."
Unfortunately, Finn denied the rumours. However, Finn did say that he would "like" to play the role if offered the part.

I "Someone asked me that the other day and I genuinely haven't heard anything, but I would like to do that. If they called me, I would do it."
Fun Fact: Finn had previously joked that he would love to be in the MCU, saying "I would like to play 'Guy on Computer' in the background of a Marvel movie".
So, how did the rumours of Finn Wolfhard playing "Young Loki" come about?
The rumours first started on December 28, 2019, when We Got This Covered (WGTC) reported that Marvel was eyeing Finn for the role of "Kid Loki". WGTC had previously reported that Daniel Radcliffe was "being eyed for Moon Knight", and also that Ms. Marvel would include "Inhumans". Both reports have been accurate.
Finn currently stars in The Turning (2020) as Miles and is lending his voice to the upcoming animated TV series, Fairy Tales, which puts a twist in the classic Grimms' Fairy Tales.
Stranger Things season 4 is slated to begin filming this month, and finish around August.
