"People you should be angry at: Those who refused to wear masks and social distance." A fan tweets.

Sony announced that the release date for Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021) has been delayed yet again to November 11, 2021, to the utter disappointment of fans.
This marks the third time the movie's release date had been pushed back due to the pandemic.
Fans will know that originally, Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021) had been scheduled to release on July 10, 2020, though it was pushed back to March 5, 2021. It was then pushed back to June 11, 2021, and now, most recently, November 21, 2021.
This also comes just after the release of the Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021) stills, so fans are experiencing fresh disappointment to the news. Furthermore, these fans pointed out how the movie was supposed to be the "bright" light to their life during the pandemic.
I "So sad hearing Ghostbusters is moving to November. Being stuck working in a hospital all of these months have been full of tension and fear. This was a bright spot for me, but with all the constant delays it keeps diminishing my joy more more everyday."
I "I dont have my doubts about jason Reitman as a director and all the new story arc possibilities, but my biggest fear is thay all these delays could turn the experience into another New Mutants/WW1984..."
However, other fans defended Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021), stating that the movie will still have the same quality regardless of the release date. They also slammed those who insist that the franchise's hype is dying.
I "The most disappointing thing with the delays isn't the delays but the incoming comments from people saying, my hype is dying - as if the movie has became less great. I've seen movies in november before. They're the same quality as in june."
Another fan also attempted to redirect fans' anger, saying that they should be angry at those who refused to take safety precautions as it prolonged the pandemic, which is the primary cause for the movie's delay.
I "People you should be angry at: Those who refused to wear masks and social distance. Those in leadership positions that ignored science. People you shouldn’t be angry at: Jason Reitman, Sony"
Meanwhile, fans are asking for another trailer to Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021) to help tide them over until November.
I "@JasonReitman any chance of a new #GhostbustersAfterlife trailer dropping? Something to tide us over till the Movie comes out? Absolutely gutted it's been put back again"
Ghostbusters: Afterlife's Annie Potts (Janine Melnitz) also took to Instagram to say that although there has been a delay in the movie, she promises that "it'll be worth the wait".
Check out Annie's Instagram post below:
I "Release date postponed until Nov, 11 2021... Though I’m sad the premiere is delayed, I am however thrilled they are insisting we all need to experience it TOGETHER back in a good ol fashion movie theatre. (I miss those days)."
I "It’ll be worth the wait, I promise! 😘👻 So let’s get vaccinated and stay masked so we can get back to going out and doing the things we love! 💕"
Co-star Finn Wolfhard (Trevor) also reposted the new release date to his Instagram Story.
In other news, Finn is being light-heartedly teased for his hair in Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021) yet again by his co-stars.
Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021) is now set to hit theatres on November 11, 2021.
