Dixie D’Amelio ACCUSED Of Being A Trump Supporter After She DELETES Twitter

On January 8, Dixie D’Amelio deleted her Twitter account and was quickly accused of being a Trump support due to the unfortunate timing.

Let's rewind.

For those who don't know, President Donald Trump was temporarily suspended on Twitter for 12 hours on Wednesday after calling the violent protestors in Washington D.C. "patriots". He was later permanently banned on Twitter.

Major social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitch and Snapchat have since followed suit.

On the same day as Trump's account suspension, Dixie's tweeted that she was leaving Twitter:

I "goodbye Twitter… it was fun 🤍"

How did social media users react?

Many quickly accused Dixie of being a Trump supporter, stating that it was suspicious that she was deleting her account right after Trump's suspension.

Dixie immediately refuted the claim, responding to the last social media's tweet with:

I "like no wtf"

She then posted a picture of herself yawning with one hand covering her mouth, implying that she was "over" Twitter:

I “this is why im leaving twitter…. sorry for my disgusting timing lmaooo”

However, haters continued the narrative of Dixie being a Trump's supporter.

As a result, Dixie posted Instagram stories clarifying her position, and that the reason she deleted Twitter was because she would "spend way [too] much time reading hate".

I "I DONT F**KING SUPPORT TRUMP…. IVE SAID IT 100 F**KING TIMES...THE REASON I DELETED TWITTER WAS BECAUSE I SPEND WAY TO MUCH TIME READING HATE….MY TIMING WAS JUST AWFUL LOL"

For those who don't know, Dixie has been receiving a lot of hate comments on Twitter regarding her song, "One Whole Day", the controversial video with their personal chef and her recent trip to the Bahamas.

Dixie had almost reached 4 million followers on Twitter before she deleted her account.
