Charli D’Amelio HOSTS Zoom Calls With Fans To Celebrate 100 Million Followers On TikTok

On 22 November, TikTok star Charli D’Amelio hosted Zoom calls with fans to celebrate reaching the 100 million followers on TikTok.
After reaching the milestone, Charli announced on TikTok that she would be doing "Zoom Meet and Greet" call with her fans to celebrate.
I "Hello, everyone, it is Charli. In honor of hitting 100 mil, I decided I’m going to be doing some Zoom meet and greets with you guys. [...] We’re going to do a couple of them. That way I can get to as many of you guys as I can."
Soon after, Charli tweeted out links to the Zoom calls, hosting a total of three different calls with hundreds of fans.
Charli later posted a TikTok video thanking fans for joining her Zoom calls, saying that it made her "heart feel so full" and that she would be doing these calls more often. She ended the video by saying that she was "excited to see where this journey goes from here".
I "It was so awesome talking to you guys. You guys are the bomb. It makes my heart feel so full that I was able to talk to you guys.
I "And I’m going to start doing these more often because this was pretty, pretty awesome. And to end this night, thank you all so so so much for 100 million. It’s literally insane and I’m just excited to see where this journey goes from here. So thank you guys."
How did fans react?
Although hundreds of fans were able to meet Charli, the majority were left disappointed, as Zoom calls only allowed 100 fans to connect at any one time.
Of course, this meant a lot of fans found themselves locked out when the calls reached the maximum amount of participants within seconds.

Additional resentment was caused when fans found out that others managed to connect to more than one Zoom call with Charli.
I "I’ve just been told that people joined @charlidamelio zoom call more than once it’s so unfair :(
The three Zoom calls also lasted within 2 hours of each other, meaning international fans missed out due to the different time zones.
