On January 27, Charli D'Amelio tweeted out that although the hate she has been recently receiving on TikTok could sometimes bring her down, she's still happy despite it all.
Let's rewind.
For those who don't know, Charli has recently been receiving hate on TikTok via people "dueting" with her, but in an unkind way. On January 24, she spoke out on Twitter to reveal that she has seen those videos, and that "it hurts". Fans have since rushed to defend the TikTok star and slammed those who had created such videos. Anyway, since then, Charli has come forward to express that even though the hate could occasionally bring her down, she is still happy.

I "no matter how much the hate can bring me down sometimes i am so happy with the way everything is happening in my life and i am so happy that i have found my people and have the opportunity’s to do so many amazing things that i can’t wait to share with you all."
In response, fans have also come forward to support Charli, telling her to ignore the haters and that she still has millions of followers who are still on her side. Not to mention, Charli has just reached another TikTok milestone, having recently reached 1 billion likes on her account.
Fun fact: Charli had reached 20 TikTok million followers just 4 days ago).

In other news, Charli is currently asking fans what her fandom should be called.
In an Instagram Story, Charli posted this:
I "hey guys just wondering do you want a name? like - charli's angels or something please give me ideas."
She later uploaded a vote bar for the name "Charli's Angels", and an overwhelming 84% of fans had voted yes!
