On February 1, TikTok star, Charli D'Amelio, danced with Jennifer Lopez in a TikTok video for the #JLoSuperBowlChallenge! Jennifer even posted the video to her official TikTok account!

 

Let's rewind.

 

For those who don't know, the #JLoSuperBowlChallenge is a challenge from Jennifer Lopez where fans have to post a video of themselves dancing to her song "On The Floor ft. Pitbull". The dance routine can be found on Jennifer's Tik Tok account, and those who accept the challenge have the chance to be reposted by Jennifer!

 

Fast forward, and on February 1, Jennifer posted a video of herself and TikTok star, Charli D'Amelio, dancing to the challenge. There were also backup dancers and everyone, including Charli and Jennifer, is wearing Jennifer's merch, i.e. a white hoodie with a red JLo logo on the chest.

Charli also reposted the same video a few hours later to her TikTok account, writing:

So how did Charli get invited to meet Jennifer Lopez?

 

Charli uploaded a series of Instagram stories showing fans the moment she found out she would be meeting Jennifer.

 

In a caption, Charli wrote:

I "this is the video where i couldn't hold back my tears when i found out i get to meet my idol @jlo"

​

 

In the clip, she is with her family when Greg Goodfried, the Head of Digital Talent (UTA), broke the news to her.

I "OK, so next week, you guys as a family are going to the SuperBowl. You have 4 tickets to the SuperBowl, hotels, airfare. You're going to every single event, and you get to spend time with JLo and meet JLo and hang with her."

​

 

Charli couldn't hold back tears as she hugged her mother. She then held her chest as Greg continues:

I "[Jennifer] is so excited to meet you and she knows who you are and wants to hang and requested it. It's going to be a life-changing thing."

Charli later thanked her talent agency, United Talent Agency (UTA), for making her dream come true in an Instagram Story with the following caption:

I "i am so thankful for all of the opportunities that everyone has helped me experience i cannot say thank you enough. thank you so much greg and my @unitedtalent family for making [my] dream come true."

 

 

It had always been a dream of Charli's to dance with Jennifer Lopez.

 

Back in November, in an interview with Gadi Schwartz (NBC News), Charli had stated that her dream was to be able to dance with Jennifer. She then revealed that she had previously danced with Jennifer's choreographers, but always wished that she could dance with the star herself. She added that she had been to Jennifer's past concerts and was always "starstruck", describing Jennifer as an "amazing performer".
