Avani REVEALS Anxiety Over Public Interactions: 'I [Bawled] My Eyes Out'

On January 17, Avani Gregg revealed to fans that she suffers from anxiety during public interactions, to the extent where she ended up "bawling" her eyes out in front of a fan.
Let's rewind.
For those who don't know, Avani first rose to fame from TikTok. She's currently a makeup artist and a member of the Hype House alongside Addison Rae and Charli D' Amelio. She also acted in web series Chicken Girls as Gemma.
However, despite a large following of over 15.9 million Instagram followers and 2.3 followers on Twitter, Avani reveals that she suffers from anxiety during public interactions.
In a series of tweets, Avani opens up to fans about how she feels when she's out in public and warns fans to not film her as she will "freeze up".
I "if u every see me in public and i look mad or scared it’s only bc i am scared of public interactions and usually just want to cry"
I "but yes come up to me if u see me but don’t grab me or like awkwardly walk by filming me bc i will literally feel so weird and will probably just freeze up"
Avani also recalls a fan interaction which caused her to start "bawling" her eyes out, and how she has an urge to run if she hears her name.

I "lmao they grabbed my arm and pulled me to them and i just stood there crying while they were trying to take a picture with me💀💀"
I "like if i hear my name in public and you see me start running ✋my own name triggers my flight"
She then shares a tip to fans on how they can talk to her without her taking off due to her anxiety.
I "i won’t run away from u if u come up to me but if u talking on the side amd like scream my name i feel like someone is out to kill me of sum. idk maybe it’s just me"
Finally, Avani says that her anxiety hinders her to the extent of being unable to order her own food at restaurants, drive-thrus, or answer the phone or door.
I "but get this i can’t even order my own food at restaurants i always make my mom or anthony do it. hopefully that explains my anxiety"
I "things avani can’t do on her own: - get food from drive thrus - answer the door - answer the phone - call for appointments - go anywhere alone - order my own food at restaurants - speak up when my order is wrong"
