Asher Angel VISITS Hospital To Give Candy To Children For Christmas

On December 23, Shazam! star Asher Angel (Billy) wished fans a happy holiday on social media. Not only that, but he also went the extra mile by visiting children at a hospital and giving them gifts.
First of all, check out Asher's tweet below:
I "Wishing everyone a happy holiday and also thinking of all those that aren’t able to be home for the holidays."
Attached is a clip of Asher going to a hospital and surprising the kids staying there with gifts of candy. He brings the candy in a small cart, and you can see the excited kids' reactions.
At the end of the video, Asher says that he was "super happy" and "excited to come back".
So, what exactly is The Ronan Thompson Foundation?
The Ronan Thompson Foundation is an organisation run by volunteers. It focuses "solely on funding more effective treatments for childhood cancer" and was started by the parents of Ronan, who was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, and sadly lost his life just before he turned 4-years-old.
Shazam!'s Asher has been supporting the foundation for the last few years, and in 2017, he was named the "official celeb ambassador" for the foundation.
Asher is not the only celebrity who supported the organisation. Taylor Swift also wrote and dedicated a song called "Ronan" to the foundation in 2012.
Taylor Swift told fans that it was about the love of a mother to her son who lost his life to cancer. According to TIME, Taylor performed it first in September 2012 in the Stand Up to Cancer telethon, and then again live in Glendale, Arizona in 2015 during her concert.
In response, Ronan's mother thanked Taylor on Instagram:
I "I still can't believe tonight. I still can't believe you did this. This will forever be one of the most special moments of my life. Thank you @taylorswift for your beautiful heart and for never forgetting my Ro. I love you to the moon and back. #ronan."
