On October 18, The Umbrella Academy's Aidan Gallagher (Number Five) revealed to fans on his social media platforms that he was planning his world tour based on how many requests he receives from each city via BandsInTown.

Check out Aidan's tweets below:

"I’m planning a world tour to perform my upcoming ep! Want me to play your city? Go to BandsInTown.Com/Aidan-Gallagher and click on the Request button so I know which cities have the most fans and the track button will tell you when I’m coming."

"Encourage your friends and followers to request me to come to your city. I’m planning my tour based on how many requests I get in each city."

Fans from around the world are already downloading the app. Requests are coming in from Dublin, London, Greece, Brazil, Istanbul, Russia, Mexico, Australia, Philippines, Korea, Spain, France and more.

Best friend, Trinity Rose, also promoted Aidan's upcoming music tour, and fans are hoping Trinity might tag along and open for Aidan again, just as she had on August 10 when Aidan performed live at his concert at "The Hideout" in Toronto.

At the concert, fellow The Umbrella Academy co-stars, T.J. McGibbon (Young Vanya), Eden Cupid (Young Allison) and even Robert Sheehan (Klaus Hargreeves/Number Four), were present.

So, what exactly is BandsInTown?

BandsInTown is an app that has over 130 million monthly users and 500,000 touring artists registered. It helps fans to keep track of their favourite artists and their upcoming tour dates.

80% of the Billboard Hot 100 Artists are featured on the app, including Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Shawn Mendes and Taylor Swift.

The Umbrella Academy season 1 is available to stream on Netflix, and The Umbrella Academy season 2 is expected to premiere after spring 2020 at the earliest.
